Significant new features and enhancements found in the AdvologixPM™ Spring 2011 release, including streamlined and expanded Time & Expense Billing, a new Document Management System, improved ease-of-use and enhanced documentation, secure Advologix’s position as the most comprehensive and best-performing legal practice management solution.

Time & Expense Billing AdvologixPM Spring 2011 provides greater flexibility in how Time & Expense Billing entries can be recorded and viewed. The Time & Expense Billing entry form is entirely new, with billing entries automatically invoiced by Matter. If Invoicing is required by Account, a Summary Statement of Invoices can be prepared at the Account level. Default rates for time billing can be set at the Account, Matter, or Staff level, and billing items can be placed on hold, not billed or billed at no charge.
Advologix supports Trust, Retainer and Collections balances for any Matter, allowing balances to be viewed for a Matter or for an Account from their respective displays. Payments and Write-offs can be received on behalf of an outstanding Invoice, and Credits can be applied for future use (aside from Trust or Retainer) in the Matter’s cash balance. Document Management The new version of AdvologixPM features an entirely new Document Management System (DMS), known as “Managed Content,” which wraps legal-centric metadata and workflow around the force.com content management system. Documents and other Content, including email and chat, can be linked to a Matter, Account or Contact and are easily uploaded from client workstations. Managed Content is fully text-indexed and searchable from a global search or from anywhere within the Managed Content.
Ease of Use User friendliness is paramount within Advologix PM, and the Spring 2011 updates ensure a trouble-free user experience. New Users become familiar with the system using AdvologixPM "Lite Profile" which offers simplified screens and an easy-to-follow Navigator.
